Stephen “Steve” John Petrignani, age 51, of Lebanon Twp., NJ, passed away suddenly on Friday, December 26, 2025, at Hunterdon Medical Center in Raritan Twp., NJ.  Steve was born on November 13, 1974 in New Brunswick, NJ. Steve was the loving husband of Caitlin, whom he shared 14 beautiful years together and the loving father to Carmela and Charlee. He spent his childhood years in Matawan, NJ before moving to Morganville, NJ. In 2021, they moved to Califon, NJ together, buying the property of their dreams. It is with great sadness that we share that Cheryl Ann King, 67, of Howell, passed away peacefully on December 17, 2025, at her home, surrounded by her loving family.  A visitation will be held on Sunday, December 21, 2025, from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. at O'Brien Funeral Home, 505 Burnt Tavern Road, Brick. Members of IBEW Local 1289, representing workers who power JCP&L’s electric system, local municipal electric departments, and several regional generating plants, recently came together to support families facing food insecurity in Monmouth and Ocean counties. Through cash, online contributions, and gift cards, members raised $1,717 and collected 251 pounds of non-perishable food for Fulfill, the area’s food bank. The donation drive was organized entirely by union members. “Our members take pride in powering this state, but we take just as much pride in taking care of our neighbors,” said Jeff Munyan, President and Business Manager of IBEW Local 1289.
