November's South Union meeting has been changed from November 19th to December 17th, 5:00 p.m., at Local 400 Union Hall (Route 138 Wall, NJ). December's North Union meeting has been changed from December 18th to November 20th, 5:00 p.m. at Clinton Fire House (1 New Street Clinton, NJ 08809). Local 1289's annual Christmas Party will be held in the south this year after the union meeting on December 17, 2024.

Technical Institute of America’s AutoCAD course will be conducted virtually starting on Monday, September 9, 2024. Classes will be held on Monday & Thursday evenings beginning September 9th from 6:00PM-9:00PM with a total of 8 sessions. This is a great opportunity for employees to participate in this course, as it is a requirement for many jobs. All interested employees must email Joel Ortiz from TIA joelo@tia.edu directly with the following information: name, email, phone number, employee ID, and indicate if you are using an Apple/Windows computer. For the upcoming vote to ratify the JCP&L contract extension, Brother Domenic Lazzaro has been appointed as the Judge of Elections. Appointed tellers for the election are: Caroline Conklin Tom Trautz Ray Alicata Sara Shannon Dave Stintzcum Candi Erickson Voting will be in-person only on Thursday, July 11, 2024. Voting will be held at IBEW Local 400 in Wall and the Clinton Fire House in Clinton. Hours for the vote will be from 6:00 am to 5:00 pm at both locations. Read more here.
